Lutz joined iDx in 2020 as a member of the advisory board and has been appointed as CEO February 2021. He is an accomplished senior executive with 30+ years of executive management experience and strong entrepreneurial, international business development and corporate transaction background. He is a specialist in big data in life-sciences and healthcare, platform-oriented businesses, digital transformation and its related economic impacts to sustainable growth.
Previously he served as CEO at Molecular Health, Inc. Boston, USA and Heidelberg, Germany, a NGS based diagnostics and Bioinformatics company in the area of cancer diagnostics. Prior to that he served as CEO of a technology investment arm of a large Swiss family office consortium, Global Head of SAP’s healthcare division and EMEA Product Line Manager for Lab Automation and LIMS at Agilent Technologies. Lutz is founder of aspect.partners, an international industry advisory practice in the technology and life sciences space that advises healthcare and technology-oriented investors. He holds a master degree in Biomedical Engineering (s.c.l.) from THM Technical University of Giessen, Germany.
Dr. Robert Niedl is Founder and Chief Technology Officer at inventicsDx. Robert is one of the internationally leading scientists in the area of microfluidic based protein analytics, data analysis and surface modifications of polymers in microfluidic systems. He is the scientific leader in building fiber based rapid test applications. He initiated various patents in the area of fiber based liquid handling and microfluidics. He founded iDx (previously diamond inventics) in 2016 as a research driven company.
Robert holds a master degree in biology of the Johannes-Gutenberg-University, Mainz, Germany and a Ph.D. (m.c.l.) in biotechnology and
bio analytics of the university of Potsdam, Germany.
Chief Information Officer
Holger is responsible for the development and deployment of the iDx Cloud platform. He oversees iDx system architecture, digital device management, software- and compliance applications as well as all customer services operations.
Holger has been Chief Information Officer of inventicsDX since May 2021. He is a proficient executive with more than 25 years of international executive management experience. He is an expert in software architecture and software product design and comes with a proven track-record of creating and developing successful software products and digital services. Holger founded matrix42 AG, a leading provider of IT- and Workspace management software solutions and served as the CTO and CEO of the German headquarter as well as of matrix42’s US subsidiary for more than 18 years. Before joining inventicsDx he held several senior management positions in other software and cloud service providing companies.
Dr. Nina Simon is Director Assay Research and Development at inventicsDx.
After her diploma studies in biology at the University of Würzburg she did her doctoral studies at the Center for Infectious Diseases in the area of Life Sciences. At the Institute of Medical Biotechnology of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg she worked as an academic councilor, led a team in the area of Protein Engineering and mentored PhD-Students at the Graduate School in Advanced Optical Technologies.
Her previous research focused on the identification of molecular interactions of pathogens with the human immune system and within the organism. Her objectives were the characterization of biochemical activities in order to develop novel drug and vaccine candidates. She is inventor of a Malaria vaccine and author of a number of articles in renown peer-reviewed journals.
At inventicsDx she is now developing sensor-based bioassays on antibody and DNA basis together with her team.
